Diversity and inclusion in the legal profession plays an important role in creating a comfortable working environment for everyone, regardless of background, lifestyle, or culture. The University of Sussex Law Society (USLS) takes the diversity and inclusion of our members seriously within the Sussex community. Our goals are to make the Society a more diverse, inclusive, and fun space for all to be a part of. We hope to accomplish this by collaborating and networking with the LPS office, other societies, and student supports to ensure that students are being supported. This is imperative to ensure that we can celebrate our differences and build bridges among each other.

• Mental Health Awareness Week & National Suicide Prevention Day

• Sussex BLM Week 2020

• In Conversation with Gina Miller livestream (co-hosted with the Politics Society)

• LGBTQ+ Commercial Careers Event with CAS & LGBTQ+ Society

• National Inclusion Week (starting September 28th)

• First Generation Society and Law Soc Facebook Live Panel Event - Careers
